The donated clothing and school supplies that our Teen Discipleship Class has been collecting for over the past two months have been packaged and shipped to Jamaica on Tuesday, December 15th! We would like to thank all of those who participated as well as donated to this ministry. We would like to keep this ministry going as we at St Matthew continue to “Heal the Brokenhearted” Luke 4: 18 and “Enlarge Our Territory” 1 Chronicles 4:10. If you can, please contribute to the Building of God’s Kingdom Work! The teens need your donations to be able to send the clothing and school supplies to Jamaica!

Know someone with HIV/Aids and unsure how to be supportive? What is the Christian response to the disease? Where are local testing centers near you? What are the local, state, and national policies that promote rights of all people who are living with, affected, or orphaned by HIV/AIDS? How do you stay away from the disease
Answers to these questions are some of the things you will learn at the HIV/AIDS Awareness Seminar. It is sponsored by href=”http://www.umcod.org/”>Hub of Hope at the Church of the Open Door. One day there will be a cure. Until then, BE SAFE, BE TESTED, TODAY!
