Sunday, June 13, 2010- Baccalaurate Sunday Guest Preacher: Pastor David Cassidy, Mother Africa Zoar UMC. Come Celebrate the Lord and our graduates of middle school, high school, college and graduate school.

Saturday, June 19, 2010- St. Matthew UMC Block Party from 12:00-6:00pm. Bring the family and let’s share in a day of food, fun and fellowship. We will have puppet shows, clowns, face painting,hula hoops, Double dutch, video games, touch football, dodge ball, basketball, prizes and more.

Sunday, June 20, 2010- Discipleship Sunday and Father’s Day: Celebrate as we annoint new disciples in Christ and honor book three and four graduates. Also, Pastor Holston has a special word for Men.

Summer Discipleship – June 24 to July 29. Six Week Session entitled Purpose Driven Plus. Summer Session designed for people who did not finish discipleship and people who have join the church in the last year.
Every Thursday night 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

St. Matthew Summer Camp starts in July.

St. Matthew Basketball Camp starts in July.

Church Cookout the 2nd Sunday in July.

Washington, DC Worship Service Trip

Please join us here at St. Matthew UMC on Sunday, February 14, 2010 for our short Worship Service then stay with us and travel to Douglas Memorial United Methodist Church in Washington, DC. We will be joining Douglas Memorial United Methodist Church @ 3pm to have fellowship, worship, and praise. If you are interested please give us a call, email us, or sign up on the log sheet located in the Narthex.
